New Camping Gear - 2025

Ahead of the 2025 camping season, we decided to incorporate a few new items into our camping gear.

REI Camp Prep Table: The primary benefits of this table are: (i) when it is not being used, it folds into a compact case that is easy to carry and store, (ii) it is sturdy and has a 100 pound weight capacity, (iii) it is large enough to fit our Chuck Box and at the same time, provide plenty of spare room for meal preparation, and (iv) each individual leg adjusts so if you are on ground that is not perfectly flat, you can adjust each leg as needed so it will stand flat.

Sekey Collapsible Wagon: We have typically camped in places where we could drive right into our campsite and easily unload. However, this summer, we have a few trips planned that will require a little bit of a walk to get to the camp sites so we are going to give this wagon a try. We are excited at the prospect of being able to load our Chuck Box, tent, cooler, etc. into the wagon and pull it to our campsite instead of having to carry everything. This wagon was appealing as it folds into a compact cube when not in use and has a 330 pound weight capacity.

Lodge Reversible Griddle: Honestly, I don’t know why we haven’t added this to our Chuck Box yet. It stores perfectly within the top shelf of the Chuck Box with your grill and having this unlocks so many more possibilities for cooking. In our opinion, this is a must have item in every Chuck Box.

Scepter 5-Gallon Flow Control Water Can: In the past, we used an inexpensive folding water cube but it wasn’t the most durable and eventually got punctured. Therefore, we decided to get a significantly more robust water can.

Lastly, we love to see other clever or unique items people use while camping so if you have any suggestions on other products to make camping more enjoyable, please let us know via email or social media.
